Junior Boys’ And Junior Girl’s Choirs
Warwickshire Youth Choirs has an impressive history. The boys have been selected for the finals of the National Festival of Music for Youth a number of times.
The Junior Boys’ Choir and Junior Girls’ Choir are for chidlren in Y3 (aged 7) to Y6 (aged 11) when they progress to our Senior Choir.
Both the Junior Boys and Junior Girls rehearse on Wednesdays in Warwick from 6pm to 7.15pm at King High School. Full membership of the Junior Boys or Girls Choir also entitles you to attend the weekend workshops too, and of course involvement in the exciting termly concerts plus extra special events and competitions.
Membership is paid monthly via Go Cardless and costs less than £5 per week (equivalent over the year). Bursaries are available for those on low income.
Senior Choirs
The Senior choirs also have a strong reputation. Warwickshire Youth Male Voices have won prizes at the Cornwall International Male Voice Festival and National Music for Youth.
The Senior Choirs promote technically and artistically-informed singing among all of its members, with the hope that the fun, friendship and camararderie will create a lifelong love of singing and its numerous health and wellbeing benefits. This approach is applied to a wide range of repertoire, including a capella arrangements of popular songs, folk music from around the world, and classical music spanning centuries.
The Senior Choirs rehearse on Wednesdays in Warwick from 7.15pm to 8.30pm at Kings High School. Membership of the Senior Choirs entitles you to also attend our weekend workshops.

Youthies
Warwickshire Youth Choirs is excited to introduce our choir for children in Key Stage 1 - from age 4 - 7 - Youthies. Youthies runs every Wednesday during term time at St Nicholas Church Street, Warwick, CV34 4JD.
Our Young Leaders Programme is a completely free training and work experience for musical young people aged 15+. We provide training in the essentials: safeguarding, EDI, GDPR, H&S and also lots of opportunities to try out musical skills. You could lead a warm-up or game, conduct a song, arranging or composing, presenting a concert, lead a section, help at a workshop, support a young person with sight singing or behaviour, designing a poster and so much more. We will support you to find your strengths and lean outside your comfort zone just enough to realise how amazing you are!
We can accept vocalists, pianists and percussionists onto this scheme.
